Before working with Eficode, what challenges or situations were you facing? We reached out to Eficode, where they could provide a good partnership around providing a good dashboard with good metrics that the management is happy with, so that they can show that GitHub Copilot actually provides higher value.Why did management push for GitHub Copilot? We all know about the AI hype, and GitHub Copilot, and OpenAI, and ChatGPT, and everything. We saw that people started to use that, but with their personal accounts and everything. What has your experience been like working with Eficode? The guy that delivered over-delivered on everything, so we are very happy. So, we have worked with Solidify the company that Eficode bought, I think, seven years ago—something like that— and it's always been good to work with them, because it's always felt like you work with your best buddy. They have always had very good knowledge around the entire Microsoft and GitHub ecosystem, meaning that they are always very good at delivering when it comes to accountability and management. They might not know everything, but they have the history and the knowledge around how stuff works within those ecosystems, so they can always deliver.They always—or perhaps I should even say they always—over-deliver, and they always have the accountability behind it and make sure that what they deliver actually is maintainable for us in the platform team. The quality of what you ship has always been very good and very easy for the platform team to maintain after the contract has ended or the product have ended. So that has been very nice to work with, which is why also we continue to work with you —seven years, eight years later.How has having GitHub Copilot enterprise helped SEB? It's good from a marketing perspective, because now we can utilize it when we hire new people here: "Oh, we have an enterprise license with GitHub so that we can utilize Copilot."
