Before working with Eficode, what challenges or situations were you facing? So we were in a state where we wanted to roll out GitHub Copilot in our organization, and for that we had started that already, but we were sort of taking it a little bit easy. But we wanted to accelerate that there. We didn’t know exactly how to go about it, but we knew that we didn’t want to just give it loose without helping the developers understand this tool a little bit better. So that’s why we sort of reached out in the first place. We wanted someone who could help us with that journey and ensure that we didn’t just give them a tool that they didn’t know how to use, but that we actually helped them understand how to use the tool and get the most out of this new tool that they got there. Why did you choose Eficode over other alternatives? We engaged with Microsoft and GitHub on this rollout there, and they suggested us to look at Eficode, said that you were a great partner. We reached out and got a talk with you, and what we heard was really promising. We liked your approach and ended up saying that this was the way we wanted to go. What has your experience been like working with Eficode? It’s been a pleasure. I think it’s been quite easy. At the beginning, we sat down, had some informal talks around what is it that we wanted to do, and talked through the project. We got like a project plan that we could relate to, and then adjust it, and then it was just a go-do, and everything was super smooth. What impact or value have you seen since working with Eficode? First and foremost, it means that we are now confident that everybody has received some kind of training on this tool so that they’re not completely left alone. And we can definitely see that the adoption of GitHub Copilot has gone up quite a bit, and the use of it has gone up quite a bit. That tells me that it’s been quite successful. What makes Eficode Unique? The first thing that comes to mind is the word “competent.” What really stood out for me was that it was clear that everybody that I talked to from Eficode knew what they were doing and had been in our shoes before. They were either DevOps engineers or related to that area. So there was a lot of technical expertise there, and they understood the problems — and not just a tool company that wanted to sell tools or so on. There was a lot of knowledge in all the people that I met.
