Is your team Kubernetes beginners, or do they simply need to refresh their knowledge? The Kubernetes fundamentals training module will take them through the basics of the Kubernetes cluster orchestration system and teach them the right skills to be scalable in their deployments and solve problems with resilience.

The team will get a solid understanding of the architecture and building blocks of the tool, and after completing the training module, they will be able to begin the cloud native journey.

After completing this training module, your team will be able to:

    • Deploy containers through pods into a cluster
    • Scale the application using replicasets and deployments
    • Create network connectivity both internally in the cluster, and externally, using load balancer
    • Roll out updates using deployments
    • Store configuration data using configMaps and secrets
    • Create persistent storage for your application, using persistent storage claims

    Prerequisites

To make the most out of this training module, participants should have basic Linux command line skills. They also need to understand how to use containers and Docker as a tool. If your team lacks this, we recommend combining this course with the Docker fundamentals. They also need to have Git bash installed on their machines.

The course is vendor and distribution neutral, so all introduced concepts can be applied universally.

Skilled and laid-back teachers who really know Docker and Kubernetes. I feel that this course is really needed for all devs.
